I've been passionate about history and family stories since the 1980s when I first became an amateur genealogist. During a stretch of unemployment, I found myself diving into archives, combing through microfilm, dusty documents, and old books in search of clues about my ancestors. Not long after, I began exploring my intuition—working with tools like astrology and Tarot, and then several psychic development classes learning from mentors over several years.
When the world slowed down during the COVID lockdowns, my love of family research deepened into a full-on obsession (in the best way). With so many records now available online, it's easier than ever to uncover forgotten stories.
An innocent comment from my sister wanting to know the mind and motivations of our great grandfather who abandoned his family triggered a thought. That’s when it hit me: what if I combined my intuitive abilities and tools with my genealogical sleuthing?
And just like that, The History Mystic was born.
